INDIVIDUAL LEARNING ENDEAVOR PRESENTATION / MIDTERM EXAM

EXAM REQUIREMENTS:

The presentation of your ILE is your midterm exam for Help Desk. Your grade will be based on the design, delivery, and content of the presentation. You will want to showcase the step by step process you went through to complete the learning goals you established throughout your ILE.

Include the following pieces of information in your presentation:

1. How did you decide on the topic of your ILE?
2. What were the learning goals that you established for yourself?
3. Did you achieve the learning goals that you established? Why or why not?
4. What was your motivation level during your ILE? What were the factors that kept you motivated?
5. What challenges did you face as you worked towards accomplishing the goals of your ILE
6. What successes did you experience throughout your ILE?
7. What skills and knowledge did you develop as a result of your ILE?
8. Present tangible evidence of your ILE & explain the componentsf the project
9. Will the skills and knowledge you developed through your ILE help you in your future (college & career)?
10.  If you could start over, would you have changed the topic of your ILE? Why or why not? Are you proud of the outcome/results of your ILE? Why or why not?
11. What advice, strategies, and suggestions would you provide to future Help Desk students to help them with the ILE?
Again, you will be evaluated on the design, delivery, and content of the presentation.

Grading:

Presentation Design

Slides (if you want to use something other than Google Presentations, you may do so; Haiku Deck, Prezi, Flowboard, etc.) should be well-designed and visually appealing.
All elements should be easy to read. Images, audio, video, etc. should enhance the main points of the presentation.
Design should demonstrate creativity. Dont’ be afraid to take a risk and think outside the box- I would love to see something different!
I’d also encourage you to create something that could be used as a digital portfolio item.

Presentation Delivery

Presentation delivery, including speaking mechanics (eye contact, volume, etc.) should demonstrate a high-level of confidence and mastery of the topic being presented.
Technical terms related to the ILE should be defined throughout.
Presentation should have a clear and concise introduction (discuss main points that will be made), body (elaborate on the main points), and conclusion (summarize the project, ask the audience if there are questions).
Demeanor and attire should be professional.

Presentation Content-

Presentation includes all required content with significant details, specific examples, and tangible evidence of what was accomplished during the ILE.
